Collage is one of my favorite mediums. Like a good moodboard, I love the way collages visually distill concepts through photography style, color cohesion, and typography. The limited materials and analog nature of the medium make for an exciting design challenge.

I personally use collage as a way to enshrine my favorite pages from years of eclectic fashion magazine collecting. I know there are other ways to get the same result digitally, but I still treasure the analog process of searching, tearing, cutting, glueing, and finally framing a piece. The maximalist result always feels right, like a photograph of a memory I got to create myself.
